THis was a very enjoyable walk from Washington up onto part of the South Downs Way.

The picture above is of the old Vicarage at Washington, a fabulous garden open to the public on Thursdays.

Descending from the South Downs Way to Sullington and then back to the Frankland Arms in Washington for a very filling and reasonably priced lunch.
